We are deeply proud to announce today the official release of LiveEdit X, our flagship application for preparing, creating and producing outstanding shows.
Our dual-mode lets you Edit your scenes on a flexible timeline, while the Live mode gives you all the control of your production during the real-time play-out of the show. From this point, it’s all about creativity!
LiveEdit X includes powerful tools for editing your scenes with various tracks: Switcher, Switcher Effects, Triggers (MIDI, Midi Show Control, OSC, Art-Net, GPO), Devices (Media Player, Video Servers, Digital Video Effects), Camera Control (PTZ, head controls), Lyrics, Cues and Song Structure.
New Macro concept
We introduced a new Macro workspace that allows building mini sequences, out of the timeline concept. More control at your fingertips for more creative effects on-screen. Combine the power of Timelines and Macros and merge pre-production precision with live control.
Standalone Timecode Reader and Clients Link
LiveEdit X can be used Live without any Producer hardware as it can chase an incoming timecode, letting you follow the show in real time and stay in sync.
In addition, your crew can follow the show on several other computers simultaneously thanks to the Clients Link. It automates the loading and playing of your scenes, thus turning this workflow into a must-have to call the shots and keep the beat on a budget.
Users management
We have extended the user levels available within your project. Now you can easily manage user permissions from view only to administrator and keep the control.
Brand new look
We have redesigned the interface to work faster and more precisely. By bringing it up to date without losing previous work habits.
Completely rebuilt from the ground up, LiveEdit X is a native 64-bit app that takes full advantage of the latest technologies. LiveEdit X uses multi-threaded processing and your graphics processor for superb real-time encoding and playback performance.
