Install LiveEdit

On macOS

  1. Download: Open your browser and go to the LiveEdit Download page.
  2. Install: Download the macOS application.
  3. Setup: Drag and drop the LiveEdit app into your Applications folder. That's it; you're done!

Minimum System Requirements for macOS:

  • Operating System: macOS 12.0 (Monterey) or newer
  • RAM: 16 GB (32 GB recommended)
  • Storage: 20 GB of available hard-disk space
  • Display: 2560 x 1600 resolution or higher
  • Processor: Apple Silicon (M1, M1 Pro, M1 Max) or Intel® 10th Gen or newer
  • Internet: Broadband internet connection for software updates and cloud features
  • Additional Requirements: USB-C or Thunderbolt ports for external devices, compatible keyboard and mouse or trackpad


On Windows

  1. Download: Open your browser and go to the LiveEdit Download page.
  2. Install: Download the installer for Windows.
  3. Setup: Run the LiveEdit setup.exe file and follow the on-screen instructions.

  • Operating System: Windows 10 version 21H2 (64-bit)
  • CPU: Intel® 10th Gen or newer, or AMD Ryzen™ 4000 Series/Threadripper 3000 series or newer
  • RAM: 16 GB (32 GB recommended)
  • Storage: 20 GB of available hard-disk space
  • Display: 2560 x 1600 resolution or higher
  • Internet: Broadband internet connection for software updates and cloud features
  • Additional Requirements: USB-C or Thunderbolt ports for external devices, compatible keyboard and mouse or trackpad


How to Uninstall LiveEdit

On macOS

If you need to uninstall LiveEdit from your macOS, you can use a free tool called AppCleaner to ensure all associated files are removed.

Download and Install AppCleaner:

  • Visit the AppCleaner official website.
  • Download the latest version suitable for your macOS.
  • Drag the AppCleaner icon to your Applications folder to install it.

Remove LiveEdit with AppCleaner:

  • Open AppCleaner from your Applications folder.
  • Type "LiveEdit" in the search box to find the application.
  • Select all related files and click the "Remove" button.

Remove LiveEdit from Accessibility:

  • Go to the Apple menu and open "System Settings" or "System Preferences."
  • Click on "Privacy & Security."
  • Scroll down to "Accessibility" and remove LiveEdit if listed.

Final Checks:

  • Empty your Trash to free up space.
  • Restart your Mac to complete the process.


On Windows

To uninstall LiveEdit from your Windows computer, follow these steps:

Uninstall Using Control Panel:

  • Press the Windows key or click the Start menu.
  • Type Control Panel and open it.
  • Click on “Uninstall a program” under “Programs.”
  • Select “LiveEdit” and click “Uninstall.” Follow the prompts to complete the process.

Remove Remaining Files:

  • Open File Explorer (Windows key + E).
  • Type %AppData% in the address bar and press Enter.
  • Delete the “LiveEdit” folder in the Roaming directory.
  • Type %LocalAppData% in the address bar and press Enter.
  • Delete the “LiveEdit” folder if it exists.

Clear Temporary Files (Optional):

  • Press Windows key + R to open the Run dialog box.
  • Type %temp% and press Enter.
  • Delete any LiveEdit-related files.

Restart Your Computer:

  • Restart your computer to ensure all processes are stopped.


Reinstallation (Optional):

  • To reinstall LiveEdit, download the latest version from the official website and follow the installation instructions.
